Re-imagine the icon. The DeLorean DMC-12 (mostly referred to as the DeLorean) is a sports car manufactured by the DeLorean Motor Company from 1981–83. The gorgeous car features gull-wing doors in its brushed stainless steel body. The car became widely known due to its appearance in Back to the Future. The DMC-12 was the only model produced by the company, which would go into liquidation as the US car market went through its largest slump since the 1930s.
With Chevrolet revitalising their Camaro, Dodge building their Challenger and Ford re-inventing their famous Mustang – many of the old muscle cars are back. What would the strong original DMC DNA bring todays world in a revitalised, new, fresh interpretation?
